With 2 million dogs and 1 million cats in New York City we only work with the best clients. We are selective of who we can care for.
We predicate ourselves upon 100% satisfaction all the time. In order for us to produce those results we are realistic about our strengths. We choose our clients as much as they do us.
As a Petaholics client we require clients to
- Pay upfront each week for the week via paypal or mail in a check, if you give us at least 24hrs notice you will be credited for the visit(s).
- Fill out necessary paperwork and give back to us to be placed on file before pet svcs can be rendered.
- Please call our offices not your dogwalker/petsitter to cancel/add to your schedule, or billing questions, any bookings made through your dogwalker/petsitter will not be valid without first speaking to a Petaholics staff member either Christine or Jordan.
- Please give us 24 hour cancellation if you will be taking the day off, leaving work early, working from home etc.. we will still have to charge you for the visit if notice is provided with less than 24 hours as we book the time frame you requested only for you.
There are a few situations we cannot provide service for but we can usually refer you to an excellent service/person to meet your needs so don't hesitate to ask.
Review the list below, ask for a referral if:
- You live outside the neighborhoods/boroughs we service
- Your pet is protective in your absence and will not allow us to enter your home
- Your pet has not been spayed/neutered (exception for puppies)
- Your pet has bitten or harmed another pet or person
- Your pet does not have social manners (exception for puppies)
- You are looking for doggy day care or a puppy play group
- You want us to take your pet into our home
- You want your dog to participate in group or pack walks
- You are looking for a kennel
- You have a limited budget that is better spent on maintaining your pets health
- You have no control over your schedule and frequently need care with less than five hours notice.
- Your pet has not been to the vet since the Mets won the world series
- You cannot provide keys for all doors/locks
