what_customers_want

In this day and age anyone can put up a website and have a new business up and running offering the same services as products as you in little time. However there is one thing that will always win out and that is customer service. How you make the customer feel via their experiences with you is the main reason whether people know it or not why they buy. Its called emotional purchasing.

We have broken customers into three distinct categories
1. Frequent Buyer-(Information) Most experienced and knowledgeable they just want the “facts”.

2. Occasional Buyer-(Persuasion) May be familiar with your company but needs to be persuaded to buy from you rather than someone else. What benefits do you offer others cannot?

3. First-time buyer- (Education)These customer may have little idea of what they want or need and may feel intimidated. What is needed is education about your services and their benefits. Take the time to offer them options and compare and contrast each type of service you offer

How much to tip your dog walker or pet sitter?

Dog with money

A lot of our clients ask us this around the holidays. They are thankful for their pets being cared for and may be unsure how much to give to their pet sitter.

We tell clients to give what they feel comfortable with and that a tip is always appreciated but never expected.
Our pet sitters have told us in the past that they have received chocolate, gift cards, tickets and cash!

Is has been given as a rule of thumb 1-2 weeks pay of what you are paying for the service but rather than tell people what to give we think its best to leave it up to the individual as everyone has their own budget.
