What to look for, questions to ask?
Do they vaccinate the pups
What is their worming schedule?
When do they wean puppies?
How old will puppy be when you get him/her?
Are they in it for the money or due they truly care?
Keeps the pups in their home
Only breeds 1-2 dogs of a breed at a time
Doesnt always have puppies available
Pups look happy and healthy and don’t shy away from visitors
Can provide a vet reference
Signs a contract
Provides references from other families who adopted pups from them

How to socialize your pup when you are out and about
At home-
Introduce your dog to all kinds of people (ages,races,colors)
-Invite the neighbors over 1-2 at a time
-Asks guests to wear sunglasses,hats, wheelchairs, canes, umbrellas etc
-Have your puppy meet children of all ages from toddlers to teens
Meeting other pups
-Meet as many dogs as possible, all breeds and sizes
-Keep puppy away from aggressive dogs till older
New Places-
stairs,unusual surfaces,shopping malls, bank, dry cleaners
In the car-
start off with short rides
