Why should I use the Puppy Pilot Program? Can't I hire a regular dog walker to care for my puppy?
Absolutely, but our services have been created with your puppy's specific needs in mind and are tailored to help raise a happy and healthy adult dog. Our Puppy Pilot staff are specially trained to attend to puppies' special needs.

How long would you suggest a puppy be in the puppy program before they can graduate to your regular dog walking program?
It depends on how old your puppy is when you get him. We suggest a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks to give your puppy a head start on housebreaking, and to give your dog time to adjust to your work routine if you took time off when you first brought him home. Also, this gives your puppy time to adjust to busy New York streets. Taxis, buses, cars, people, and dogs can be stressful for puppies when they start outdoor walks.

Can my puppy go for walks outside?
Your puppy should be exposed to the outside world, but not be allowed to walk on pavement until she's fully vaccinated. Puppies can pick up diseases in areas where other dogs have congregated.

Will you feed and give my puppy water?
Yes, we will follow the routine that you have set for your puppy.

Will you help housebreak my puppy?
Absolutely, we will help clean up any messes and reinforce housebreaking according to your routines.

When do you come to visit my puppy?
We suggest daily weekday visits between 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm for two 30-minute visits or a single daily 60-minute visit between 11am-1pm.
